Soundblaster drivers where, oh where can I get some?

When I click on the sound control, it says that Ubuntu can't find an
installed sound device to work. I might just get a new sound card, the
guy I got it from has a garage full of comp. stuff, and will give me
parts if I need them. I turned off "Plug n play OS" in the BIOS, so
I'll see if that changed anything.
