jaunty shutdown problem

every time i want to shutdown the ubuntu 9.04, it won't completely shutdown until i type some keys.
i don't know why.

 				 						Does this error message hamper your use or does it make your shutdown
process cost longer time?
If not, I suggest you simply omit that message or try a full install.
Btw, have you tried scanning your disk in windows xp?
