Help with installing proggies

sometimes .deb files like to call out to the web to nab other "needed" files
and from what your other post suggests is that your local pc ur learning on
does not have the ability to connect out to the web. So it may just be
telling you that it cant find the other needed files and that it just wont
continue untell which time it can "call home" to receave the files.
