Can you honestly believe that just because Linux is free, it has no cost?

The time I've spent figuring out how to run applications that are 
insufficiently documented, alone, costs me thousands of dollars annually.  
Which certainly doesn't mean that I don't believe it's cheaper than Windows 
in the end, but it's far from being without cost.
