Keyboard and touchpad fails to initialize at boot on Acer laptop

Hi!

I've noticed that on my Acer 5530G laptop with the 9.04 ubuntu installed
 the laptop and touchpad fails to initialize at boot. The gdm starts up
otherwise correctly but no keypresses are registered. I have to reboot
the computer, either harshly by pressing the powerbutton or then
connecting a usb-mouse to the laptop and use the options-menu.

It's always a once in a while error, I've never had the same issue on
two consecutive reboots.
