Thank you Nils.

My native language is Dutch. Sometimes it is very difficult to express my
feelings in English as I intend to, and still be a nice person. The
nuances get lost in translation. Nils wrote what I wanted to write.

Perhaps I should mention that in my day job I have to support top-floor
executives who all have BlackBerries. Most of these people are very smart
(how else would they get a top floor job) and they are really aware of
when and why to use a smartphone: to get the job done. (in our case:
producing steel)
Supporting fellow Ubuntu users is not a job, it's a hobby. You do it
because you like to do it, not because you have to. Sure you are one of
the cool kids if you can show that you can afford a smartphone (in a
downhill economy!) but is that the most efficient way to help your fellow
users?

It is really really really not my intention to pont the finger at anyone
in particular. I *want* to be nice, it's not my fault if I get
misunderstood. But please people, lets be efficient. Use a BlackBerry if
you are willing to make an effort in cleaning up your mail, or simply wait
until you have a more efficient tool. Nobody will die if your mail is sent
a few hours later...
