   I've been running the pre-pre-pre-pre-alpha version of
Chromium (it's splash says "It's ‘Chromium’, not ‘Google
Chrome’) and it is amazingly quick. It's far from complete (it
does have bookmarks) and works well on 75% of sites I visit (even my
banking site). If it stays fast when it is complete...FF will have a
formidable competitor!

And yes, I find FF lags on my Intrepid machine...but nothing I can't
deal with.
