If you get kicked, it's another problem: why are you getting kicked if you 
have the root rights?

Secondly, imagine you connect to a server with a very bad internet 
connection. You get disconnected. Then you may become root again without 
entering any password? It's bad. Think of me going to the toilets but 
having closed the SSH window: some people could just sit on my chair and 
repoen and become automagilaccly root? Bad, Bad...
