Installing VDR support on ATI-based system

We are installing a TV card on an ATI based system. This guide pretty
much sums up the process for an Nvidia card, but this is an ATI
system:

The Nvidia-specific part seems to start at step 3 (3. Xine-VDPAU +
Xine-UI). Has anyone any clue what we must do for ATI? Thanks in
