Unable to login as root

Hello Dheeraj,

Login as a root in GUI mode is not a good practice.
But if you want to login as root . Try This.

Step : 1. Set a password for root user using this command :

sudo passwd root

Step : 2. open GDM Setup using :
Either Use :

sudo gdmsetup

    go to security Tab and choose "Allow local system administrator login"

OR

Go To   System > Administration > Login Window
go to security Tab and choose "Allow local system administrator login"
now Try to login as a root. You are good to go.
