How to restore nvidia kernel module?

I have downloaded NVIDIA-Linux-x86-180.51.pkg1.run 
<http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/180.51/NVIDIA-Linux-x86-180.51-pkg1.run> 
from http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_180.51.html,and 
tried to install it,but failed,I remember during that installation,it 
tried to compile and upgrade nvidia kernel module,I think that causes 
this issue.
