How to get a KDE to run

    Yes it is odd. I have renamed .gnome2 and the gnome comes up just as 
if nothing has changed.  And I see nothing of kde period. But I did d/l 
kde from the repositories.  I guess I will try sudo apt-get  remove  
gnome, and then reload the whole thing again :-)
