It's funny...I used to always use KDE, up until about a year and a half ago,
when I discovered fluxbox, then, later openbox. (never liked gnome or xfce).
Now I can't stand all the bloat and eyecandy, and just want a light,
fast, simple WM where I can easily
add my own keybindings (easier in flux than openbox), and that largely
stays out of my way.
I keep switching back and forth between flux and ob, now...can't decide
which I like best (today I'm using ob). But this movement to excessive
animations and nauseating 3D confusion just gives me headaches.
I've tried even lighter WMs, like twm and jwm, but they're not as simple
to configure as flux.
Anyway...that was totally OT...
