(ie., were it oowriter2.3,, and you did an update to openoffice.org 3.0,
the name would
now be simply oowriter, I believe).
Can you start the program manually, via menu or terminal?
Best way to determine why an application is not starting is to try and
start it at terminal,
then post any error output to the list.
