Wubi seems stuck during download

It was to install on a Windows computer mine is only Ubuntu, no Windows on
personal computer but my sons' games have troubles working with Ubuntu so
they want to keep Windows. Anyway Wubi worked and installed as a folder,
then my son already uninstalled it but the Ubuntu boot stayed. I was just
wondering why? No problem though I am sure he will reinstall his computer
before next month.
