Singapore has some pretty harsh laws, with caning as a possible penalty. I
believe it illegal to chew gum on the street, and an even worse offense to
litter.(Like if you spit out your gum on the sidewalk.)
They also have the death penalty for drug trafficking.(You are considered
trafficking, if you have over a relatively small amount on your person when
they grab you.)
