msgs not reaching list ???

None of my messages are reaching the list.
I am using Seamonkey mail with IMAP on two gmail accts, one of which
(this one) I subscribed to the list,
but when I send messages from the subscribed addy (carefully verifying
the "From:" field), the other gmail addy
receives a bounce msg.
I've also, now, sent several msgs from the gmail web interface (as I
am doing now), and still,
none of my messages seem to make it to the list.
Not even replying to existing msgs on the list (yes, I am receiving
mail from the list...just can't send any...)

Any idea?
I'm definitely subscribed, definitely receiving....
