msgs not reaching list

I have two gmail accts, and am using seamonkey mail with IMAP for both
addresses.
Now, I have sent several messages from photodharma at gmail.com to the
list, this being the e-mail address with which I joined the list.
But, for some unknown reason, I keep getting bounce msgs at
baldwinlinguas at gmail.com
saying that my message could not be delivered, non-member sending to
member only list.
I AM a member, and I have carefully verified that the "From:" field
contains the relevant address,
so, I'm confused.
If I send a message from photodharma at gmail.com to baldwinlinguas at gmail.com
the message arrives accordingly, showing photodharma at gmail.com in the "From:"
field, so, I can't figure out for the life of me why it is that when I
send a message to the list from photodharma at gmail.com,
baldwinlinguas at gmail.com receives these bounce msgs.

I'm sending this message from the gmail web interface.
