Aspire One lock-up issue

I wonder if anyone else has found a reason and fix for the following issue.
I have an AAO ZG5 (or AOA150) with Ubuntu 9.04, ext3. I updated the BIOS 
to the latest version about a week ago.

Every now again the computer will hang with the Cap Lock indicator 
blinking. At first it seemed to only happen when I tried to download 
torrents. So, I stopped downloading torrents.
Now, however, it seems anytime that I do perhaps anything video related 
that it also hangs. So, yesterday I tried to watch something on Boxee 
(have been able to in the past) and it froze.
Then this morning I tried to watch a YouTube video link and it froze.

I've looked for solutions out there, but I haven't found any.
