In this case you just trim out the extra stuff that has no bearing on
what you are replying to.  This includes stuff like signatures, and any
other text or comments that are on a different subject.  Though you *DO*
want to keep enough of the previous replies to maintain the flow of the
message thread.  Just do the best with what's currently in the message
and review it before sending.  If it makes sense to you, hopefully it
will make sense to someone else reading your message.
