Sound Problems

[C.Gray]

Hi,

I am having trouble with my C-Media 8738 sound card in Ubuntu. The
module for the sound card is installed and running (snd-cmipci) and
Alsamixer appears to recognise it fine, I have increased all the
appropriate volumes, yet I still do not hear any sound when I attempt to
play anything.

Output for:

'lspci -v' - http://paste.ubuntu.com/165485/
'lsmod | grep cmi' - http://paste.ubuntu.com/165486/


And I am using Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty) and I am using the generic kernel -
 2.6.28-11-generic.
