Just a couple of things,
1st If you are lifting the phone handset to hear  "those funny

noises" you are running the risk of losing your connection, I know if my handset is knocked off the cradle I get disconnected.

2nd.  Check your spelling for the website that can't be found, if you copy and pasted it into your text as shown in your text above
could be missing an  "n"
