Access to the Image Viewer through WINE ?

Under WINE, I'm using a Windows program to view newsgroups.
One of the groups often has graphics files attached and I want to run
the image viewer, rather than necessarily finding and installing yet
another graphics program.
In order to run the Image Viewer I need to see|access|click on the
executable file, or to type in its path, when teaching the Windows
program which file to call.
After that the Viewer will run automatically each time.
Does anyone know
1.
where it might be,
2.
The EXE file name
3.
How would I find it (if you weren't answering Q1). I haven't seen a
good, global file search facility yet in UBUNTU.
Learning a new system can have its frustrations, but isn't it fun? :-)
TIA
