KVM on Ubuntu: what guest OSes?

You'd be better off going the opposite direction. I'm running Jaunty 
inside of VirtualBox on Mac OS X (10.5). While it is possible to run OS 
X on non-Apple hardware, it isn't supported. Most of the "hackintosh" 
machines require the altered DVD image of OS X to be in the drive at all 
times in order to work.

Relatively inexpensive Macintosh computers can be found on the Apple 
Store site, under the refurbished section.

A Google search for "hackintosh" will lead you to articles explaining 
how to run Mac OS X on non-Apple hardware.
