Remove and repair

I installed Hardy and then put in the Hardy U-Studio disk.  I now have
one totally unusable studio installation that is occupying half my hdd
and I need to recover it.  Gparted reads;

Can anyone tell me how to get out of this mess and still be able to
boot?
