My HP was loaded with Vista when I got it and it turned off the
wireless when it shutdown. HOWEVER, that had nothing to do with
Ubuntu as all drivers were replace when I removed Vista and installed
Ubuntu. Once I got the wrong drivers blacklisted and the correct
drivers from backports, everything has worked as it should.
