Not a bad idea as startup manager will help someone who can't configure
menu.lst for themself, it configures it for you. 

Personally, I never suggest someone install extra software when the
current case is such an easy fix with what is already available but
it's good you thought to advise of an extra choice. Open source is about
choice.
