I have seen the same behavior in Hardy as well. With no
/etc/X11/xorg.conf file present, a default one is used which apparently
based on the detected video card and monitor. So this doesn't look like
anything new only in Jaunty.


Please reply to this list only. I read this list on its corresponding
newsgroup on gmane.org. Replies sent to my email address are just
filtered to a folder in my mailbox and get periodically deleted without
ever having been read.
