That's it! Do the upgrade of the packages standing by. Use "sudo
aptitude -f install". Then try installing kcalc again. This time you
will get only kcalc.

Doesn't matter if you use it or not. If there is anything Gnome related
installed, its related package will continue to be upgraded.

If the information shown by apt-cache says so, then yes.
Please reply to this list only. I read this list on its corresponding
newsgroup on gmane.org. Replies sent to my email address are just
filtered to a folder in my mailbox and get periodically deleted without
ever having been read.
