Are you looking for free as in free beer or free as in freedom?
There may be a Linux version of Tally, which you will have to purchase. 
Why not ask Tally if they provide a Linux version. Personally I prefer 
Free Software but to me it's better to use Linux and some proprietary 
software instead of sticking with Windows.
