Install kernel 2.6.11.12 in Ubuntu

hello to everybody

I have compiled the kernel 2.6.11.12 downoaded from kernel.org.
I have already added the patch patch
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/devel/binutils/linux-2.6-seg-5.patch 
then I compiled right

And I got the .dev files (image and header)

Then I have tried to install them
