    Also, the problem started with the imap system at Google. When I 
first found the problem it was on this computer. I checked with my 
lap-top and it had the SAME problem. This morning I checked the laptop 
and it's running fine too. So it is not a Thunderbird issue. I must have 
messed up Thunderbird trying to get things going.

    So score one for Google problems.
