AH! You caught me! I just saw the warning on the top of the page and thought
the instructions being listed there were no longer current rather than the
version. Turns out the page is indeed current and gives the instructions for
the non-supported version to upgrade.

Good deal! I feel alot better now about my suggesting Ubuntu to people! I
was doing that anyway but also suggested people pay attention to and use the
LTS versions as support lasts longer. Some people don't like having to
upgrade every six months and feel better with an OS stable enough to run for
a couple years or so. Others like the bleeding edge! Kubuntu 8.10 leaps to
mind! That was fun for me but it would have been a real pain for my
brother. Thanks for the enlightenment! :) :)
