Resolution problems

I am trying to set up a media center computer with mythbuntu.  I have a 
nVidia GeForce 8400gs card (and the nvidia restricted driver) driving a 
Samsung 1080i TV.  The problem is that the TV crops all four sides of 
output.  What do I need to fix the output so that I don't loose any of 
the sides of the screen?
