I have this processor,

http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SLB5M

Running 64bit Vista. When I go to install with VirtulBox it says,

"This kernel requires n x86-64 CPU, but only detected n i686 CPU.
Unable to boot - please use kernel appropite for your CPU"

I suspect it's VirtualBox running in 32bit mode.

Does anyone think otherwise?

Can anyone suggest a free VM that I can run Kubuntu/Ubuntu in 64 bit-mode?

Thanks,
Jz
