Well, a pop/imap or smtp server - you could _send_ them rather than
retrieving them.

Let's assume he was making a rather poor attempt at a joke, since he put a
smiley on the line.  Generally process names beginning with "k"
are "kernel" tasks - so definitely not chaff.   Of course, kde tasks begin
with "k" too, but you don't have any...
