Subject: Bad Breath ?
I have had a copy of Ubuntu 9.04 installed for a month and have been unable
to get a GUI interface loaded. I have asked for help on this list twice and
have had no response. Would sure appreciate some help.

Sorry for the html mail.
well here goes,
there are thousands of reasons why your gui isnt comming up. Please describe
to us what happens when you try to bring up the gui. Does it give you a
blank screen and stay there? does it dump you to the command line? does it
not even try to bring up a gui?

When I do a boot, I get the Ubuntu splash screen and it looks like a normal
load.
Then a virtual terminal comes up saying "No Resume Image found", doing a
normal boot.
I logon and then enter sudo startx.
The screen goes black for a bit then back to the vt.
I am enclosing a log file generated by this operation.
