I thought I *was* using Seahorse? Generally I simply use the default
settings as they are "out-of-the-box". Here's what's running in my
system now:

scarolan 24113 0.0 0.0 35940 680 ? Ss 08:09 0:00
/usr/bin/ssh-agent /usr/bin/dbus-launch --exit-with-session
/usr/bin/pulse-session /usr/bin/seahorse-agent --execute
x-session-manager
scarolan 24117 0.0 0.0 23824 728 ? S 08:09 0:00
/usr/bin/dbus-launch --exit-with-session /usr/bin/pulse-session
/usr/bin/seahorse-agent --execute x-session-manager
scarolan 24140 0.0 0.1 165064 7384 ? Ss 08:10 0:00
/usr/bin/seahorse-agent --execute x-session-manager

All I know is that it worked fine with the previous version of Ubuntu,
and now it's broken. Very unfortunate and frustrating. I can't even
manually add my key:

scarolan at kalki:~$ ssh-add
Could not open a connection to your authentication agent.
