Another question - size of hard disk

Hello,

I frequently had space problem with my Windows computer. I did not have
500 GB. Maybe 250.

I hope to download art and etc.. Not too much interested in downloading
movies (unless tutorials on graphics and animation software).

In the Windows world 500 GB is not that much. I hope that setting up
the Unbuntu's main section, or drive, with only 25 GB won't be a
problem. Don't want to go through another reload and etc. I assume
that there must be a partition program that would allow me to change
the size. I was planning on giving LINUX most of the remaining had disk
space.

I am getting some confidence so I will take your suggest to play around
a bit.

Thanks for your comments and advice.

Thomas

Hard Drives are not the same as a rule. I have no idea what your
going
to do with 500 Gb much less MORE!

With another HD you will see with fdisk -l they look the same
but one HD is (hd0) and the other will be (hd1) to Grub. Just play
around and you will learn a lot.

I feel like a poor person, I have just 160GB and I 3 versions of
Ubuntu
running and still lots of space...
