Acessing Ubuntu folders in Windows

One added note of caution using the programs recommended: because your
windows OS will have R+W access to the ext2/3 drive/partion, Windows
viruses, trojans, et al will also have access. I recommend that you only
enable Read access instead of R/W access unless you are *very* confident
of your environment and system security skills.

Also, if you are going to use a program such as those suggested, I'd
also recommend that you install a linux based antivirus program to
perform an on-demand scan from linux. My recommendation is Bitdefender:
