smbmount doesn't work, but nautilus does

I have a weird bug. I'm trying to mount a samba share from a QNX
machine running Samba 2.2.7a. I'm trying to mount it to my Ubuntu
machine. If I mount it from Nautilus, I get the share just fine, but
if I mount it using smbmount, I get error 13, permission denied.
Has anybody seen this before? I need to use some command line
utilities, so, obviously Nautilus will not do what I require.
