Flash player/FF

[Verde Denim]

Im running 8.04 64-bit server and have been puzzled by the fact that even
after I install flashplayer (non-free), I still cannot view video files in
firefox.
I went to Adobe's site to look there, but the only version they have in a
.deb file is the wrong architecture.
I did install flashplayer from synaptic, but I still cannot see the vid
files.

Has anyone else run into this?
