Network settings in Desktop & Server version

	If you look at /etc/network/ you see this on Hardy Ubuntu:

karl at karl-hardy:/etc/network$ ls
if-down.d  if-post-down.d  if-pre-up.d  if-up.d  interfaces
karl at karl-hardy:/etc/network$ more interfaces
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

as you see there are a lot of choices known to the GUI software but not
known to you or me.

	I just hope it works!
