I'll probably give it another shot then. Another pet peeve I have is
restarting X because I use multiple workspaces populated with specific apps
for specific work spaces. Including terminal sessions, and browser
windows/tabs, I probably have 50 or so things going on -- just the way I want
them. This is nothing new though. I had 9 workspaces on Redhat8.  Its a
bitch++ to get that back just right after a restart.
