Sure it does.

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.0.11/releasenotes/
- Download
- From Nautilus double-click the firefox-3.0.11.tar.bz2 file
- Extract
Note: it will extract to a 'firefox' folder. Be aware that you may get a
few extract errors:
tar: firefox: Not found in archive
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
Not to worry. Now, navigate to the 'firefox' folder that was created and
run firefox. However, be aware that the parallel version will use the
/home/<user>/.mozilla/firefox prefs, so if you want to test with a clean
install, rename /home/<user>/.mozilla/firefox to
/home/<user>/.mozilla/firefox_backup. Firefox will then create a new
/home/<user>/.mozilla/firefox & you can go back to the previous by
renaming back if needed.
