Some movies are too quiet to really hear when using any of the movie players on my system. I really want to be able to turn the gain past 0 db under alsa mixer. I want the sound turned up past 100%. This should be easy, so how do I do it? Isn't there a way to use a software amplifier before sending it to the ALSA subsystem. -- Ken T. <ktectropy at gmail.com>
