>>Is there any to load MS fonts on Ubuntu 9.04 offline<<

I found this wiki to be very helpful

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Fonts

Basically, you first install msttcorefonts from the repository (if you
do a search in Synaptic, you can see if it's already installed, if not,
install it), and from there, you can custom add fonts as you like.

I tend do a lot of work with fonts, so I'm constantly adding more, and I
created a folder named "custom" under /usr/share/fonts to add my
specially added fonts, so I can easily back them up and move them from
computer to computer as I need.
