Neither firestarter nor ufw are "firewalls" but rather userland tools to
help you configure rules for netfilter, the kernel's built-in packet filter.
It does not necessarily hurt to have dozens of those tools installed.
But if more than one is executed (for example automatically during boot)
and each fiddles around with netfilter rules, the result will very
likely not be what you want or expect.
