Thanks for your comments.
Its good to know that its possible to use LINUX with so few problems.
I am new to LINUX and I think that I am going to like it here. I wasn't
too satisfied with Windows, or Microsofts predatory policies.

If it is of any consolation, I've been using gnu/linux exclusively on my
computers for about a decade, now, and not once have I had a crash,
virus, intrusion, spyware or malware issue, etc.
(Once I lost a harddrive, but that was hardware failure, not software
related...)
I have never used any kind of AV software, not even a firewall, and
don't even have my router locked down with wep, or anything.
I just keep my systems up to date.
Linux rocks!
