It's got to be a setting there somewhere - nobody sensible would hard code that.
The dd-wrt guys should be able to tell you.

And note it's not an either/or situation - it could be using both or neither...


All you need to know about Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty -> gconftool -s --type
bool /apps/update-notifier/auto_launch false
